I feel so grateful for the blessing of my baby's smiles! It's interesting that it takes 4-8 weeks before a baby can smile (for real) and that God gives us the practice smiles before babies smile on purpose. It does a lot for lifting my spirits to see an awkward little smile form on Evangeline's baby lips.
Miss Evangeline is growing out of or at least adjusting to the pain that occasionally comes with fully functioning intestines and bowels. She is finding much more opportunities to smile at us! She is a sweet, darling girl. I'm blessed!
