I'm blessed...
~to have insurance.
~to have medical care.
~to be in a caring church where I'm supported in prayer
~with God's good timing in offering encouragement through a fellow believer
~to have friend(s) that text/call when I put melancholy status updates on facebook.
~with my husband who takes such good care of his family
~with my children who miss me when I'm not feeling well
~with my Mom who helps me brainstorm solutions to every day dramas
~with my comfy bed and rest
~with my home sweet home
If you can't tell from my post, I'm dealing with some health stuff right now. Most predominantly a very painful case of impetigo on my mouth/chin/lips. It is difficult to trust and follow through with a good attitude in a hard situation, especially when I'm short on sleep. I'm choosing to focus on the blessings in all of it and praying that God would continually use the difficult situations he puts me in to refine me. I want to do a better job of not just posting/talking about God's goodness, but follow through with patience and trust as I look on the blessings. Through it all I do feel so blessed and I'm grateful to God.
