Today...

we were busy! I scrubbed this new-to-me exersaucer clean with Pine-sol and followed up with sanitizing it with bleach solution. The fabric seat went in the washer. It is now all ready for baby girl...in about 3 + 4 or so months. I figured it wouldn't happen after she came so I did it now.

Abraham got to play in the car--pretty much a daily routine. He's good at it. He can put the key in the ignition, turn the key, turn on the headlights and hazard lights, turn on the blinkers, make the windows go up and down, man the radio, and numerous other "driving" activities. He thankfully has really short legs and we have a manual transmission so he can't actually start the car. He also recently learned how to say how old he is...an important fact to remember against the fact that he wants to drive the car NOW!!!

We're also pretty proud of our little whipper snapper's growing vocabulary. The words are quite crisp...but oh so close!! :-)

Among other things (those not documented by photos or video), I made a conk shell with my dish rag!! As I was finishing the dishes, I really quickly rung out the rag with one hand and set it on the counter to grab the drying towel. I smiled right when I saw it and knew...this was going to be part of history! Its quite a striking resemblance wouldn't you say!

Tee hee... I like the dish cloth shell. Have you ever looked for striking resemblances in potato chips? Once I found Minnesota and Wisconsin-shaped chips that almost fit together.
