Juxtaposed Mental States

1. Mentally crisp:

As I was making dinner, I was thinking about making the curtain for our bedroom...

...which I actually did do after dinner. It turned out quite nicely (total cost was under $9!)!

2. Mentally lacking:

However, while making dinner I skipped one ingredient in our casserole--the tuna. Can you guess what we were having?

If you guessed tuna noodle casserole, you're right!! Right after we started eating I said to Nathaniel, "I just don't think it tastes quite as good as the last time I made it..." He said, "Well, it doesn't really taste like tuna," knowing full-well that I had missed the namesake ingredient.

That's really funny! Of all things to forget! At least you can blame it on pregnancy.

Nice curtains too. Right now I'm working on making a shopping cart seat cover and it is giving me major troubles!
